    Excellent food!!

  • *****

It was one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. Would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. I am on my way back to my house on the Cape and I'm just wishing I got one more meal before I left. I am also wishing they had a sushi place like that near us!!!

  • *****

Food is delicious. The place got a lot better recently. Proportions are great. Way less noisy. I stopped going because they reduced the amount of fish and increased the rice amount.

  • *****

Always an amazing experience! The food is fresh and delicious, sake is on point, and the service is always quick and friendly. And the fact it is all you can eat is an added bonus .

  • *****

Phenomenal food for an amazing price.

  • *****

Best bang for your bucks, good quality food.

  • *****

This all you can eat place is perfect for just that. Lots of good options for food from the kitchen and the sushi bar. Nothing is spectacular, but there is plenty of it. Red bean ice cream is a must to finish off the meal though.

Wait staff is just ok. Can be hard to get their attention for more food, though they are quick with the check.

  • *****

Very clean and nice place. Service is great food is good. Lot of places to park. Not busy at all.
All good tonight and service great. We enjoyed the evening

  • *****

The best all you can eat sushi place I've ever been to. I come here with groups of friends all the time. The sushi is decent quality and the all you can eat option is definitely worth the money. Sometimes will cut the sashimi in smaller pieces of you order a large quantity. This isn't a real problem though because you can just order more the next round. I always leave satisfied.

  • *****

Food is super fresh and theres not just sushi. Theres a kitchen menu as well where you can order hot food such as chicken terryaki, fried rice etc for those who dont like sushi that much.

    AMAZING FOOD. GO GO GO

  • *****

Delicious and fresh sushi for a fantastic price! Large dining area with ample seating, and offers an impressive all you can eat deal for $30 (lunch) if you are incredibly hungry. Fast service and friendly staff!

Good food, a little pricey for lunch. $10 lunch specials would be awesome

  • *****

I love this all you can eat sushi place, the fish is fresh and everything is delicious. Definitely a must eat if you're a sushi fan. If you eat more than 2 rolls, this already pays for itself

  • *****

Small but cozy and the food is excellent. Godzilla roll is the greatest thing there. They a lot of different options so you will be able to try a Lil bit eveything

  • *****

Pretty decent all you can eat Sushi spot.

  • *****

Yum-yum, especially all you can eat ... Had double ice cream

  • *****

    Good sushi
I went for the all you can eat, good quality sushi but could be better, a lot of options (also vegetarian) nice place and prices. Service could be better. A lot of parking spot available at the front

  • *****

Reliable, fast, quality and affordable. Like the only smart restaurant.

  • *****

    Fast service and good quality.

  • *****

Probably the best place for AYCE sushi in all of Westchester. Special rolls are very solid, but lack salmon or tuna and avocado inside, though some special rolls are topped with all three. Youll have to get the non-special salmon avocado and tuna avocado rolls to get the good stuff inside instead to supplement the special rolls. A lot of bang for your buck. Sushi is delicious and among the best AYCE Ive ever been to.

  • *****

Best sushi ever I come here every year on my birthday

  • *****

Great sushi along with other non-fish options. Service is good and fast.

  • *****

Nice place for all you can eat sushi. Staff is super helpful and attentive

  • *****

It will scratch the itch if you're craving sushi.

Be aware that if you don't eat everything you ordered, you'll be charged extra for food waste.

  • *****

This is my favorite sushi restaurant to visit. All you can eat sushi buffet that is made fresh, what more can you ask for. You can order other items other than sushi. Dont believe majority of the reviews posted on Google. Ive been going to this for years and havent had any issue. You pay one price (based on the time of day and weekday/weekend). You can eat all that you want but people are not realistic/considerate when they place their orders. Your order form states you may be charged for wasting food. Order in moderation and youll be fine. All the staff members are great including the manager/owner (dont know which one) except for one staff member who can be rude. The place does get busy during the evening especially on the weekends. Most restaurant has a timeframe on how long you sit at a time especially during peak time. If you have a party less than 5, you shouldnt be there longer than an hour and 15 minutes. I havent had any issues with being attended at my table. All the staff members work collectively so you can ask any one for help or assistance. People nitpick over minor things you would experience at any restaurant. Overall, I love this place and definitely recommend to satisfy your sushi needs.

  • *****

Great place with good food at a good price.
    I just love them.

  • *****

Loved this place. The wait was not long at all. The food was hot and very fresh. The waiter is fast and very efficient. Their rolls were well made and neat. The atmosphere was beautiful warm and inviting. The decor is very nice and gives a relaxing feel. They have plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely return and I would recommend this place to everyone I know!!

  • *****

Good food. They get busy so may have to wave your waiter down a few times.

  • *****

Tofu skin avocado roll is my favorite!

  • *****

Very cozy place not big but not small either food and staff are great you will enjoy everything. The godzilla roll is to die for

  • *****

Try the all you can menu. It will knock your socks off. Good sake also.

  • *****

The only thing that matters is that they have all you can eat which not many places are doing anymore since covid.

  • *****

Sushi castle runs like a well-oiled machine. Service is fast and attentive, and food comes out quickly relative to other AYCE sushiplaces, even when the place is slammed. Sushi quality comparable to your mid-tier local sushi joint, which honestly is very good for AYCE. Wish the special rolls had a little more variety, but no real complaints about the food. When post-meal ice cream time rolls around, go for the strawberry ice cream.

  • *****

    Best sushi spot!

  • *****

This is the best sushi spot. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. I come here at least once a week!

  • *****

This is definitely a hot spot for the college kids as it can get busy. But all in all, the service was fast and the sushi was fresh. I'll definitely be coming back.

  • *****

Sushi is always good and fresh, this place has great price for all you can eat sushi $29.Service was fast, sushi fresh and clean, the spot needed some music in the background

  • *****

    very good

  • *****

Clean with amazing sushi and food

  • *****

Very good sushi spot! Definitely recommend it.

  • *****

Service is quick quick quick. If you blink or turn away from your food, that last piece is gone, however it has its advantages, rather lack of service. They top the game in Service and the sushi isn't to bad either.

  • *****

Very clean and nice place. Service is great food is good. Lot of places to park. Not busy at all.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Good size..fresh… can’t beat it.

  • *****

    My favorite spot for sushi!

  • *****

    Good food and service.

  • *****

Was the best all-you-can-eat sushi in Westchester. Still great selection, and quality, but pieces have shrunk in size a bit due to the pandemic. They're doing fine, though. Maybe helped by the unfortunate sea-dweller portion downsizing. You can still can all you want.

  • *****

    Great value ayce sushi

  • *****

Good food very reasonably priced. Only take out since Covid hit. Very nice and caring ownership

  • *****

We've tried a couple other all-you-can-eat places in the area and this is our favorite. Service is quick and there is a variety if rolls available for the all-you-can eat option. Food has been consistently tasty every time we have gone.

  • *****

Good service.food was good. Well prepared sushi and kitchen food

  • *****

Great sushi and awesome service definitely will be back

  • *****

Sushi castle is always amazing. They are prompt with your food. Always fresh. Always to your order. Best deal around for sushi

  • *****

fuego. all u can eat. go prepared

  • *****

My friends and I love sushi castle, really great fresh sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. They also have appetizers and small plates such as calamari. This is one of our go to places whenever we are in the area and hungry.

  • *****

Worth every bit of $26.95 plus tax-n-tip. Forget the bashing you see on Google as its not about the actual quality of the food. The sashimi salmon and white tuna is soft as butter and the brown rice hand-rolls werent overstuffed with rice - as is so common with all-you-can-eat venues. 5 sushi chefs behind the counter all busy preparing to-go orders adding proof that the food holds its own even at the off the menu style of ordering. If you love sashimi you wont be disappointed.

  • *****

    Great deal with unlimited sushi

  • *****

Great all-you-can-eat experience. Great food, attentive service!

Been coming for years and it's still my favorite AYCE sushi restaurant. Quality is great all the time and the servers are very quick. Best to come in large groups so you can try a little of everything!

  • *****

    Been great lately.

  • *****

Love sushi here - its super fresh and the service is excellent. Whenever Im looking for my sushi fix, Sushi Castle is my go-to. Make sure you go either at opening or around 6pm to avoid the lunch/dinner rushes.

  • *****

Lightning fast service. Great food. Very attentive staff. Good sushi quality. Try it you won't regret it.

  • *****

Best all-you-can-eat sushi in Westchester. But it's mine, so go away.

AYCE sushi is SO GOOD at sushi castle! Been coming here for years and so glad to see they are thriving in spite of the pandemic

  • *****

Food materials are fresh, small portion for every order. (Check food items on small piece of paper menu, staffs will take the menu to sushi bar or kitchen for your order. Ask for more menu if you decide to order more). This restaurant has regular menu for non-buffet customers. Staffs are always friendly and good service, my whole family like this restaurant.

  • *****

Sushi castle was convenient, clean and stocked with friendly staff and amazing sushi. The sushi here was carefully crafted expertly presented and tasted as fresh as if I was in a row boat of the coast of Japan.

  • *****

  • *****

Amazing food, great service at an unbeatable price. I stop in every time I'm in the area

  • *****

The staff here is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and never too loud. As for the food, it's pretty darn good sushi, always tastes fresh and well prepared, with plenty of options and appetizers, the price is more than fair for the quality. I highly recommend it for a fun night with friends or a date night.

  • *****

Decent price for an all you can eat. Lots of sauces and rice on the rolls which I was indifferent about. You get what you pay for with the quality.

  • *****

Remember all you can eat definitely worth it

  • *****

    This place is awesome.

This review is based on their unlimited sushi/sashimi Friday lunch. I believe we paid around $32/pp. If you are able to eat a lot, then go ahead and enjoy their unlimited menu. Obviously, if you are someone who prefers quality over quantity, then please look for another authentic Japanese restaurant that would offer higher quality seafood and more skills. I personally go back to enjoy the unlimited deal when I am craving lots of sushi and sashimi.
Here's the breakdown of my pros and cons of this restaurant based on my experience (of course all these are subjective):
    Pros:
    - Price and quantity (around $32 and unlimited) - Drink is not included.
    - Pretty good selection of items from sushi, sashimi, rolls, hand rolls, teriyaki, tempura, soup, pork cutlet, salad, and more.)
    - Quality of sashimi (especially salmon) was better than decent for an unlimited restaurant.
    - Lay back atmosphere. The servers did what they needed to do at a right time (such as bringing out food, filling up our glasses with water, taking away done dishes, etc.). It wasn't too rushed or too slow.
    - These were our favorites out of the ones we had:
    1. Sashimi - salmon
    2. Thinly sliced octopus (sauce we didn't care for)
    3. Soft shell crab rolls
    4. Seaweed salad (a bit too much sesame oil, but still good)

    Cons:
    - Philadelphia rolls - we love cream cheese, but this was way too much cream cheese. We ended up spitting out half of it from each bite. Besides the cream cheese they used was creamy but lacked flavor.
    - Sushi - Rice wasn't too densely shaped so the texture was fine, but rice to sashimi on top ratio was a bit off. I ordered a sushi + sashimi and split rice from the sushi to make myself two sushi with the sashimi I ordered. It was perfect. Then again, rice fills you up and maybe that how they are able to fill you up faster. haha
For the above two main reasons, I can't give five stars, but I will go back for some unlimited sushi sashimi goodness.

I had the Godzilla Roll- the eel avocado roll and chicken tempura roll with green tea ice cream. Sushi is my obsession so I was actually quite disappointed that the mark was missed. Im not sure if they were having a bad day but the sushi was not fresh. The ginger was not fresh, it was visibly oxidized. The only thing that seemed fresh was maybe the ice cream and definitely the salad. I take freshness and flavor to heart when it comes to sushi so decide for yourself if you want to go here. I am however willing to give them another try. I know things are wild right now and I dont want to assume its always like this but that wasnt acceptable for me, a sushi connoisseur. The Godzilla roll wasnt that bad and the size of the sushi was good, filling but again, freshness escaped everything. :(. Will try again though and update my review if they present something better but I also dont think it should be freshness Russian roulette when it comes to sushi so we will see.

  • *****

The service was good, some things I couldn't understand because of their accent sorry but they were trying and I appreciate that. The food was good as well I had calamari and my friend had the California sushi, I personally don't like sushi but we both liked our foods. :)

Goes to show how entitled people in this area are. Are you really complaining about an extra $1? Guess you havent been watching the news. Im perfectly content paying an extra $1 especially if it helps keep a local restaurant open. And if you really are unhappy about it, stay home and dont go out! Anyways the food is always good and excellent. Great every time

Ive been looking for a consistent sushi experience and Sushi Castle does not disappoint. I am surprised at the quality for an all you can eat place. I order takeout at least once a week!!!

The sushi is always fresh and the appetizers are spot on.

Great sushi and phenomenal pricing. Try the Hot Sake too!

Great all you can eat sushi. Menu is limited to a few select sushi and kitchen items. Recommend this establishment for family or friend gatherings. They have all the covid-19 precautions in place and they check your temperature upon entry.

Great service and great food. Always very welcoming

Good restaurant. Wasn't a fan of the disposable cutlery for dine in but otherwise service was good and food was very good.

  • *****

Some of the sushi I have ever had. Everything is really fresh and clean tasting. I high recommended any of the Nigiri if your looking for something traditional. Or if you want something a little new the Butterfly roll is amazing.

  • *****

Phenomenal customer service! The rolls were great. Highly recommended!!

  • *****

Can't beat it for the price!

  • *****

Even during these tough times, Sushi Castle still has quality Sushi at an affordable price. Tables are set far apart and your temperature is checked at the door. The secret to eating at an unlimited menu is dont order everything at once pace yourself and enjoy the food! The only recommendation I could have is I wish they would change the menu up once in a while its been the same for a long time. And if you leave food left over be prepared to pay extra thats why its smart to order slow and steady then all at once.

  • *****

All you can eat sushi. Quality sushi, did enjoy. A tad on the pricier side. Would recommend.

  • *****

Sushi was good. Appetizers were just ok. Shrimp shumai was good.

  • *****

Great value for money. Unfortunately a bit too crowded for dining in with covid. Popular with the local crowd.

  • *****

Clean, great portions, family-friendly. Best for the price

  • *****

The food is expensive but really good!

  • *****

We're fans. It's easy. All you can eat sushi that tastes good, great price and good quality fish. The restaurant is always busy so that means they're moving a lot of fish and it doesn't sit around. There are higher end sushi places in Westchester but I can't honestly say they're any better. Great service, good pricing, good quality fish. Good experience.

  • *****

After getting the takeout here a number of times, our family has enjoyed the sushi here. I've found there sashimi/sushi pretty fresh and the pieces are decent size. Like the fact they offer a discount on takeout and it's definitely worth it.

  • *****

I've been here a couple of times with friends and the sushi is so good and always fresh. The best is the butterfly roll! Anyways, the staff is a little awkward for greetings but still friendly. The "all you can eat" has so much to offer, whether or not you enjoy sushi.

  • *****

    Love it!

  • *****

Me and my family love sushi castle! Customer service is always alert and on the toes and reasonable price for all you can eat!! Would 10/10 recommend all sushi lovers to go!

  • *****

While I'm not a sushi fan, many of my friends and family are and love this place. I like that you can personalize your meal and they have a lot to choose from on the all you can eat menu that will satisfy those who don't eat sushi. They have a regular menu as well with Japanese favorites if you prefer. They give you a lot of food, but beware of ordering more than you can eat as they waitresses can be very mean about it and you are not allowed to bring home leftover from the all you can eat menu. Their sake is a bit pricey, but wine and beers are fair. This place gets very busy on weekends so it's best to go during the week or at an off time. They have a lot of selections for sushi as well including interesting options such as peanut avocado roll and chicken tempura roll. Worth a visit for both sushi and non sushi lovers.

  • *****

    Great stuff

  • *****

Impressed!!! I have lived in Eastchester for 18 years and I have never been here. All you can eat Sushi and the quality was 5 star. A must try!!!

  • *****

Best takeout! I am very happy that I always get a discount when I order takeout instead of eating there. So I pay practically nothing for a roll. They always have fresh fish. I always hesitate when ordering raw fish, but you can really trust this place. Woman at the front register is very sweet. They have the best vegetarian rolls. This place is great for all vegans and vegetarians. I recommend trying their low sodium sauce and ordering any of the rolls with brown rice instead of white. Their Tofu Roll is amazing!

  • *****

Very good. All you can eat sushi. Had lunch with friends here recently on a weekend. Very clean and fresh. Sometimes sushi doesn't agree with me. But I never got sick from here. Try the all you can eat sushi. Very reasonable cheap prices too!

  • *****

I love this place but expect the service to be a bit shotty.

The food is amazing, And the sushi is incredible --but most times you'll only get a little more than half of what you ordered at a time.

Can't stress enough that if you don't mind the above ^^ it's worth the trip! Delicious and affordable.

  • *****

I love this place. AYCE sushi, it's delicious, great service and I've never had an issue. They might give you a little less then you ordered if you put a huge order in, but who cares? It's AYCE. Monday - Thursday is a few bucks cheaper then the weekends and holidays. Anyway, I love this place.

  • *****

The food is always very good and fresh. The price is unbelievable. Service is also good. The only complaint is that they don't bring all the sushi you order. My guess is they want to make sure you don't waste the food. It gets confusing though, becauase you don't know what you ordered. Still a great place.

  • *****

Sushi castle has great food for a very affordable price. But I was disappointed with my last visit. My two friends and I went one hour before closing time which was the same online and on the door.when we went inside the restaurant it was empty. They told us that they were closing so we needed to be fast. While we looked at the menu the waiter stood right behind us. The employees were watch a television that was right above us. It felt as if it was all eyes on us. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable experience.

  • *****

Excellent AYCE sushi and Salmon Roe! Worth it. Fast and delicious. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

  • *****

I love this place everyone here is great. Fast, easy going, responsive staff and amazing atmosphere. Everyone here is very helpful. The only issue I have is some of the customers think this place is a hangout spot to just sit after they eat. To the people next to me. Please leave after you eat. This is not McDonald's. This is a restaurant.

  • *****

Ordered online and it was early and quick and convenient. Plus it was delicious. A great amount of good quality food, for the price!

  • *****

sushi castle is a sushi buffet that I have not experienced until I visit East Chester. What I enjoy about this ace is that they DO NOT have the sushi on platters on a long buffet table like any other buffet establishment. So the sushi is always fresh!

We ordered the soft shell crab, dragon roll, the udon beef noodles, the teriyaki beef rice bowl, shrimp tempura, broccoli tempura and so much more that I can't remember.

You order the sushi from a card checklist menu and the sushi comes to you fresh. And it's one flat fee! this place def gets super crowded on the weekends as we come here usually on Fridays/Saturdays with family!

  • *****

Good sushi! I'm impressed. The only thing was the sashimi selection was really limited. Aside from that, really good specialty rolls and they don't skimp on the fish like some ayce places. Service was on point. We got all of our orders correct in spite of it being a hectic Saturday night. I'd definitely go again!

Great sushi with excellent prices and fast services both eating in and take out. Staff is very nice!

  • *****

I am a big fan of sushi castle. The fish is always fresh and the service prompt. The-all you-can eat option is a great and affordable option if you are hungry enough. Highly recommend this place

  • *****

My favorite spot for sushi. The buffet menu is so good you can get overwhelmed. Good place for a 1-4 people.

  • *****

    great!

  • *****

We always do the the all you can eat on a weekday when it's slow. Lots of vegan and vegan possible options! Loooove their tempura and mango sushi roll. Ask for their Butterfly Roll with no lobster!

  • *****

All you can eat sushi, including fancy rolls! And a fine variety of fried things/teriyaki meats to start with. And sashimi. All the fish I had was fresh and tasty. I especially liked the soft shell crab rolls, which I've never seen on an all you can eat menu before! They have ice cream as part of the all you can eat... including red bean and green tea flavors!

It's not the best sushi in the city, but it is cheap and available in ample quantities. Because sometimes that's what you need.

  • *****

After coming back many more times, I have become impressed with the efficiency and the overall high quality that Sushi Castle manages to maintain. So what, if occasionally when busy, a few of the items you order are left off --it's not entirely their fault that most Americans are gluttonous and over order. The quality of the sushi, cooked dishes and especially the weekend special add-ons are top notch for an all-you-can-eat!! And 20% off to go make this place a gem for high priced Westchester!!

  • *****

This is my all time favorite sushi spot ever! My boyfriend and I used to come here all the time when he lived in the Bronx! The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the environment is clean! I've tried every sushi they have and honestly it all tastes delicious! My favorite app is the spring rolls! Since he moved we don't come here as often but that doesn't change the fact that this is my go to shush I spot! If you are in the area come to sushi castle

  • *****

Great fresh snapper an yellow tail sushi. I love all of it. Clean bathrooms an overall clean. Maybe they don't need so many people working at the same time hovering over you. I take it to go...

  • *****

Wow haven't yelp reviewed in awhile, but this restaurant deserves mention! While getting together with an old girlfriend of mine who lives in area,I asked her for an idea for a place to enjoy dinner together. She suggested sushi, and have never eaten sushi before was willing to try.Ill admit I didnt taste try any raw fish choices but i was really impressed with everything else.Lots of cooked choices on menu and very tasty! Finished off with red bean ice cream delicious. Staff extremely attentive and friendly. Very reasonably priced.I definitely would revisit and will try raw fish next time.Im a fan of Sushi now!

Love love love the all you can eat sushi. Food is great and servers are attentive. Totally recommend

  • *****

Best food ever always fresh always priced just right clean easy parking I love it here

  • *****

    amazing

  • *****

Sushi sliced thin but it is all you can eat. There is a fee for wasted food.

  • *****

Excellent service here and the "all-you-can-eat" sushi was fresh, fast and so delicious. The manager stopped by every table personally the whole time and remembered everyones details. She Even ran to the back to get extra sauce for a me! I am a wine sommelier/foodie and my passion is sushi. This will definitely be my new sushi spot! The ambience is very pink but the food and the experience are the focus for sure. I recommend the "New dragon roll".

  • *****

Really quite surprising in a positive way that an all you can eat sushi place is so good, especially on a Sunday night. Here's what I would say: order less than you're inclined to, otherwise you may face some nasty looks for the employees.

  • *****

This place will be my favorite place because sushi is my favorite! This place serves good so I think I am going to come again.

  • *****

Love love love this sushi place! One of the only ones around the Queensboro area that will actually do all you can eat and not gyp you adding too much rice or too little product. I have been there multiple times within the last year and have no complaints at all! Cannot wait to go back again, was there last night on I packed Friday night and had a very small weight time with food coming out at all moments of the night! Was there for almost 2 hours and could not be any happier

  • *****

Great sushi and other Japanese food for a great price. We go here when we are craving sushi. The all you can eat is awesome, lots of sushi , apps, dishes and ice cream to choose from. You won't leave here hungry or upset.
The sushi quality is what everyone always asks me about when I mention it's al you can eat. It's above average - excellent quality. It's not going to be your high end pricey sushi quality of course but it's comparable to most sushi in the area and the best all you can eat quality we have tried.

  • *****

My husband and I love coming to this place. Good food and nice staff. The sushi is very good and we always do the all you can eat special. The dining room can be a little cold at times so bring a sweater.

  • *****

Excellent service, courteous management and food was excellent. They have a wide variety of Japanese and even Chinese dishes. And the price is amazing.

  • *****

The all you can eat sushi is a must, especially for large groups of friends or family at dinner. The hot menu and sushi menu are full of choices. I definitely recommend.

  • *****

This is me and my boys favorite sushi restaurant. Everything about it is perfect! The best bang for your buck in town. We come here as often as we can. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly and always welcoming.

The spicy tuna hand rolls are great and my boys love the kitchen menu. Especially the dumplings. My only gripe is that I eat too much food when I'm there haha!

I look forward to the many more meals I'm going to have at sushi castle!

  • *****

The food is great all the sushi rolls are amazing the popcorn shrimp dish is great crispy chicken my kids love teriyaki chicken is amazing seriously can't go wrong with your order here. There's only one problem when you order food they won't bring out more than one at a time so if you're coming here with a large family and you want to order three chicken teriyaki is expected to come out one at a time

  • *****

A little addition to my previous review .., food is very good , sushi is delicious , but I ordered a bit too much sushi and was charged extra because I didn't finish it all.. I'm a good customer and felt this wasn't nice . Beware of how much you order

    12/24/17.. update
Went in Xmas eve with my son . Only 3 tables of customers and they were watching us like a hawk .i actually had to tell the waitress to please have the wait staff " back up off the table " because they were practically on top of us while we ate. It was very uncomfortable having them stand around waiting to grab every empty plate the second the food was finished . It wasn't like they needed the dishes with only 3 table being occupied .

  • *****

Went to eat here last night for "all you can eat" sushi. It was very good and the all you can eat includes hot food, appetizers and ice cream as well. If you leave a lot of uneaten food they will charge you. I guess it's to prevent from ordering too many items and wasting the food. Regardless, the service was good and so was the food. It's definitely worth it and for a good price

  • *****

Great delicious food and its "All-you-can-eat"!!! :)
The staff is very kind, attentive and will make sure that you are fully satisfied. Plenty of parking, comfortable seating and again, great delicious food!!! :)

  • *****

This place is great! The food is wonderful and the portions are great. Totally awesome tasting and I will definitely return! I tried literally almost everything on the menu and it was all fantastic!

  • *****

Food is excellent for AYCE sushi. Is the sushi better in other places where the sushi deluxe costs more than the price here for AYCE? Sure (but not always). Go here with reasonable expectations and you will love it.

Most of the negative reviews here concern being charged for food that you can't eat. Here is an original idea - DON'T ORDER MORE FOOD THAN YOU CAN EAT!

  • *****

This place is great. Can't beat the price. Good sushi. Walk in and you'll see what i'm talking about. Place is always busy.

  • *****

Fresh sashimi/sushi always....fast service & very few "missed" items when it comes to the AYCE menu (they get it right almost all the time). Weekend parking is hard to find right in front though since it is always busy here. Great value on the AYCE for both taste & service. Family friendly & definitely a low key 1st date place & since there is a Carvel right next door it's twice as great a choice for the summertime. I'm a repeat customer.

  • *****

The sushi is quite good. The All you can eat approach results in great value... Even though the individual orders are often incomplete, you just keep sending in orders till your done. It is actually quite easy to get a great variety of individual pieces of sushi and sashimi and rolls

  • *****

We have come here 2 times. With kids and without. Excellent service and excellent Food! Such a gem.

  • *****

Love this place. Have been here about 10 times and found the staff and food quality consistent. That's important! The fish is very fresh, sweet and recognizable. The variety of fish is honest if not overwhelming. The "all you can eat" is a little too much for me but popular...the price is right...but I prefer to pick and choose off the a la carte menu and have never been disappointed. Enjoy!

  • *****

    Delish!

  • *****

Let's be real. When you go to the All You Can Eat sushi restaurants you aren't going to get top of the line stuff, but, for the price Sushi Castle charges for an AYCE dinner, it's pretty darn good. Have I had better? Yes, but I've also paid $200/plate for it. This place is (for the most part) quiet, friendly, and the tasty food is served by a friendly and hard-working staff. I don't think you can really ask for more than that. We tasted nearly every roll on the AYCE menu and never had a bad one. I'll definitely be back to this place.

  • *****

I love this place! I always come for all you can eat sushi ($20 is such a good price and you can really do some damage and get your money's worth) but you have to be prepared to finish everything because they charge you if you waste food. Luckily this is so easy to do because everything is delicious, especially the specialty rolls. They're really clear about this no waste rule, so just start slow if you're worried you won't finish, because you can order unlimited rounds of food. The staff is really nice and attentive and they're good about checking in on you. I seriously have no complaints and will come here again and again.

  • *****

All you can eat sushi at Sushi Castle is the best bang for your buck you can find. If you love sushi and can eat a lot of it. Then Sushi Castle is the place to be. Sushi comes out quick, fresh, and won't stop coming until you've had enough. The grade level of sushi is not the top but its really good considering it's unlimited. This is the only place I go for sushi.

  • *****

Great deal for all you can eat sushi $20 pp you can't go wrong. It's the perfect place to go when you want sushi, as well as some tasty Japanese appetizers. They give you a pretty nice selection of items to choose from, on both the appetizer menu and the sushi menu. The food was good, & fresh. if you're looking for gourmet sushi this isn't the place for you. The service was really good too. They were well staffed for a full Restaurant @ prime dinner time & they were attentive. I'd go back.

  • *****

One of my absolute favorite places to go for sushi! Always fresh and fast. Never had a bad experience. The staff is always so great and attentive. All you can eat sushi for $20 can't go wrong ever!

  • *****

Fresh sushi, sashimi, and tempanyaki. They have a full menu and an all you can eat option which is plentiful and well worth it as it is 20.95 Monday-Thursday, and 22.95 on weekends. Kids are 10.95 all of the time under 10 years old. Service is attentive and fast. Food came to the table very quickly also. Beef Using, Salmon skin rool, and Pink lady rool were great. My son loved the chicken katsu. Will be back again soon.

  • *****

This is the BEST all you can eat sushi spot in town! Justin (manager) and his staff are quick and very attentive to their guests. The food variety is amazing!! Highly recommend this place. It can get crowded on the weekends so reservations are also recommended! Happy eating!

  • *****

Amazing food and the people that work there are so nice.

  • *****

For $20 all-you-can-eat, this place is amazing!! The food was good and I'm usually pretty picky since my family's from Japan and I've had my fair share of phenomenal sushi in Japan. I loved the Godzilla Roll! It was all so filling we could only do one full plate and then a second smaller order.

One star off because the service was so-so. Our wine and sake took a while to come out. They ended up coming out after we had gotten most of our appetizers. We also had just gotten more sheets after our first round and the guy ripped the sheets out of my hand before I even finished filling it out because it was last call. All-in-all a good place though!! Can't believe it took me three years to come here.

  • *****

Pretty good. Quick with service. Busy and packed but seating was really quick. Definitely accommodating. Will come again sometime. Sucks it's closer to my job than my home.

  • *****

Great! Food and service. Great price, wonderful change from the same old same. Eastchester very cool.

  • *****

I tried Sushi Castle with my husband and son last night. As many other reviewers write, what a GREAT surprise! When I think all you can eat I think of chaos and everyone getting up and down and this isnt' like this at all. You sit and order and then you can order more. The staff all work so hard; I hope people are good about giving them tips!! Everything was delicious. I hope they make enough money to stay open!!

  • *****

    FAVORITE PLACE FOR SUSHI.
So cheap, $25 with drink, tip, and the best meal. All you can eat has never been so great!! LOVE IT

This place is awesome great sushi great great everything service is especially thorough and very pleasant. Price is very reasonable.

  • *****

Sushi castle is hands down the best place for all you can eat sushi. It's $20 Monday through Thursday but then raises a few dollars on the weekend. This place has amazing sushi and other delicious food. People say that it taste fresh and it is very true the food taste fresh. Although they do not have any hibachi station, they make up for it by offering teriyaki foods also. The staff is all friendly and they are on top of everything. Never really had to wait more then 2 minutes for someone to order more food. The atmosphere is very nice. Highly recommended coming to sushi castle. They do take credit and debit cards. However they do not take Discover Cards unfortunately so if you have a Discover card, don't bother. But overall an awesome place to go.

Tried this place for the first time with my family. I saw this restaurant pop up on my Yelp and decided to give it a go. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center. There is ample parking but on a Friday night it was very crowded. The restaurant was packed! The scene was a younger crowd. The environment was loud and we were cramped in to a small table. The restaurant is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. The venue is decorated nicely/very modern. The restaurant is an "all you can eat" for around $22.00 a person.

There were multiple staff members walking through the crowded aisles removing used dishes and taking additional orders. Sometimes the dishes were removed a bit too quickly. The way the you order is simple. You are given two menus, one for the kitchen and one for the sushi bar. You simply indicate the # of items you would like on the paper menu and the waiter then takes the paper order from you, and arrives shortly with you meal. The menus have a good variety of items including ice cream, the chocolate ice cream was delicious!

The food arrives quickly. The items are small, so we ordered a variety of items. We tried the shrimp tempura, edamame, beef and chicken on a stick, various sushi/sashimi items, octopus salad, wonton/miso soup, and gyoza. The kitchen items are all served with a sweet dipping sauce. The food was tasty and not salty or greasy. The sushi/sashimi was very good quality and was presented beautifully on the plate. The sushi is also not heavily riced.

I did enjoy the food here and it is reasonably priced for the area. I would love to return on a weeknight to see if the restaurant is as crowded. Thanks for the suggestion Yelp!

I decided to try out the weekend buffet special. They have really good appetizers (kitchen items) and sushi. The philadephia roll was mostly cream cheese and the salmon was overwhelmed by it so will skip that one next time but everything else was up to par with good balanced rolls. The sushi took some time but the restaurant was packed and I'm sure made to order. We received kitchen items anyway so it wasn't noticeable since there was food on the table. The ice cream here is good and a great way to end a fantastic meal. There was no wait when going on a freezing weekend afternoon.

  • *****

If my friends and I could give this 10 stars, we WOULD!!! The sushi is fresh, and can't beat the amount of food for the price! The staff is wonderful, and deliver plates at a great pace!

  • *****

All-you-can-eat sushi OMG! I could just stop the review there because that is the true highlight here... but I should really go on because this place does so many thing right--from food, to presentation, to service.

The AYCE service is every day of the week and will run you about $20 a person (WHAT A BARGAIN)... and the Fri. to Sun. experience will cost you a couple of more bucks each (but well worth it because, on those days, they feature several higher-end and tasty cooked and raw sushi selections that are unavailable the other days of the week).

As for the food, you can't really go wrong with any of their selections--it is all fresh and tasty! And, sure, this will not be a Michelin-rated experience, but you will walk away happy and full.

Had the pleasure of being recommended to this place. Sushi was fresh and prepared by order. Calamari was good as well, the sauce that came with the calamari was even better. I would definitely come back here but I will come back hungry as they take great respect in Japanese customs and if you don't finish all that's on your plate, you will pay extra! However it's a great deal. $19.95 for all you can eat sushi is bomb. I had red bean ice cream as my dessert and it was a first time for me, taste a lot like vanilla mixed with strawberries but nonetheless it was tasty... Great service as well, very attentive

  • *****

Good Sushi, good service and great price. I came here with my family and a friend who visited this restaurant the first time. We all enjoy the food here.

  • *****

Just an update from my last review which was my first time here. I've been back time and time again and they don't disappoint. Great food, service and value. I even pop in sometimes just to grab a roll not even AYCE. It's just good sushi.

  • *****

One of the best all you can eat sushi joints I've ever been to. Normally I go to sushi x but this was way better. The staff was great and the sushi was fresh. I also had two small children with me who made a mess and the waitress said it wasn't a problem (at least not to our faces). I will definitely be going back! Be sure to check in on yelp for a free soda.

  • *****

Come here once a week! No better option in the area for the price. All you can eat FRESH sushi and kitchen items - can't beat it. The owners are amazing and service is always awesome. Must try!

  • *****

What a great place! My teenagers love that they can eat forever and ever here! Quality food and great friendly service. A great local find!

  • *****

My bf and I come here at least once a month. We love the all-you-can-eat. The food is pretty good and the staff is friendly. Free green tea is a plus.

  • *****

Pretty Good for the price. 20 bucks and change for all you can eat. Staff was very nice. Only complaints is that the service was slow. They need more employees to handle a big crowd. But like a said very nice people. A bit loud but a nice social atmosphere. I would go back.

  • *****

Great sushi, all you can eat is phenomenal, but don't order a lot all at the same time, they short you. Order little at a time and keep track of what you order.

  • *****

Delicious sushi fresh friendly staff good menu and prices

  • *****

Good quality sushi, fresh, and lots of options. I would say even more so then other AYCE. Workers are attentive, plenty of parking. Option of normal al la cart menu as well.

  • *****

Excellent, fast, fresh. Food comes almost instantly, the only restaurant where we have to physically slow down service! All-you-can-eat doesn't get any better than this. Never been disappointed, we've been here a dozen times.

  • *****

All you can eat sushi with good service that is honestly too beautiful to be a place like this. I am not trying to sound sexist but really look at their waitresses and be shocked be truly shocked

  • *****

The overall experience was as aspected by my standards. After all this isn't my first time dining here. Overall the servers were attentive and speedy! I don't think I can down another morsel. As for my fiance, she's a first timer and she had no idea of the existence of this dinning gem of Eastchester, New York. She was astonished by the overall quality of the food and service!

  • *****

Great place to go in eat and get out, or sit back and take your time. Awesome green tea ice cream.

  • *****

This place is the reason I exist. The freshest highest quality all you can eat sushi I have ever had. I've yet to try something that I don't like from the all you can eat menu. Try the crazy salmon roll or do not bother going tbh. Also I could drink the spicy mayo if I'm being 100

  • *****

Pleasantly surprised. We like what we have ordered. The staff is very attentive and efficient.

  • *****

I have been here several times in the past year, and the food and service has always been excellent. I did have some trepidation about the freshness of the sushi since it's all you can eat, but I have been pleasantly surprised. All of the fish is every bit as fresh as some of the other higher priced options in the surrounding areas. The staff is always very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend trying Sushi Castle if you looking for sushi in the Eastchester area.

I love this place! I never leave without feeling way too full. Service is good, food is delicious, ice cream is yummy. All you can eat.

  • *****

The service has always been prompt and friendly. After multiple trips we have yet to be disappointed. We love how it is a sit down and you tick off how many of whatever items you want for the table. The service has been prompt, the quality solid and overall clean and great

  • *****

Delicious! Perfect every time. Excellent selection. Clean, great quality and great service. This place is a winner! I highly recommend.

  • *****

Great food. Always happy with the service. They are constantly coming over and asking how the food is. What can I say, I love the place.

  • *****

Free soda with the Yelp check-in, delectable barbecue squid, ultra-fresh cuts of fishes, delicious ice creams (red bean with red bean bits, chocolate and green tea), efficient service, minimalist and clean decor, easy and free to park on the shopping center parking lot, $10 AYCE for children...

My favorites were: yellowtail sashimi with jalapeos, seaweed salad, the eel and avocado roll, eel nigiri, tobiko nigiri, red clam nigiri, salmon pepper sashimi, etc.

Our party of eight have been enjoying often this place. We will definitely recommend you will give them a try if you were to be around.

  • *****

Since the new "All you can eat sushi" craze began and new restaurants have been popping up over night, you have to be careful which one you dine at. There is a gem here in Sushi Castle. All the fish here is fresh without question. That is HUGE in an AYCE sushi place, because many places skimp on quality to make up for potential losses. This place cuts corners nowhere, and their service is great too. Great spot to try if you're looking for quality all you can eat sushi as well as Chinese/Japanese specialties.

All you can eat delicious and fresh!

  • *****

It's obviously not fine dining sushi, but for being all you can eat, it's a great value and very tasty. Add in the variety of appetizer options from the kitchen that are included in the AYCE, and you definitely get a 5-star experience.

  • *****

Been to plenty of sushi spots, and this had to be the best experience I've ever had. From the sushi to the service everything was excellent. The atmosphere was very up class, the food was the best I've ever had before.

Reason I gave five stars was because the lady owner took great care of us, and was extremely nice. Will definitely be back soon.

  • *****

"All you can eat" brings a lot of questionable thoughts to mind. Sprawling buffets with people sneezing on the salad, drunks binging on roast pork under fluorescent lights in Vegas or shrimp platters at Sizzler that kinda look more like little paws. All you can eat SUSHI is even trickier...isn't it? Don't fret at Sushi Castle! It's okay. It's just run of the mill, wholly acceptable sushi. Period. No bells, no whistles, no Nobu. Just pieces of fish and hearty rolls, and as much of them as you can throw down the hatch for 22 dollars! The edamame tastes like edamame not soggy towelettes and the rice is perfectly proportioned in regard to the fish. So the next time you're feeling like sushi but don't want to spend a hundy for two...go to Sushi Castle and say Rocco P sent you!

  • *****

Excellent, it's not "buffet sushi". They make it as you order it. Great value, great taste

  • *****

    good quality and reasonable price

  • *****

Honestly I can't really say anything bad about this place. Everything we ordered was amazing. The miso was perfect, all the rolls were loaded with fish & it was all super fresh. The service was good, nothing to complain about. I can't wait to come back to try some other things on their menu.

It was $60 with tax & tip for my husband and I for lunch, defiantly worth it! We will be back.

  • *****

Great service, which always makes the food that much better when you are being taken care of well. Know that some of the workers don't speak great English but they are very nice nonetheless and are always there when you need something, which is key.

Compared to other places in town, you cant compete with their pricing, which is always good, though the quality of the sushi is great, my personal favorite is the Godzilla roll with spicy mayo and extra crunch.

Definitely recommend giving the place a shot, you cant go wrong with a $20 sushi dinner.

  • *****

Great selection for AYCE sushi, apps, kitchen foods, soups, salads, and of course sushi, sashimi, and even fancy rolls. Staff was great and super nice. Quality was great for AYCE and on par with most sushi places in Westchester. Its 20 bucks on weedays, u cant beat that.
The only thing my wife didnt like is everyone at the table orders on one ticket and its not divided and comes out on one big plate. They wouldve probably divided if we wanted too tho.
I think i found my new sushi spot, ill definitely be back!!!

  • *****

The food is fresh, and excellent. Price is unbeatable.

Good for an all you can eat place. Service was fast.

  • *****

There is nothing better than all you can eat sushi, unless that sushi is high quality, and also includes an entire menu of all you can eat appetizers from the kitchen. This place is the the only choice if you're looking for sushi in Westchester. I highly recommend it and will be back for more frequently.

  • *****

So I had AYCE sushi--and I can officially say that hell has frozen over.

For $22, you get all the sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, and specialty rolls you want. Keep in mind I have never experienced something like this before. It's also the same for the kitchen food.

I took one star off because of lackluster service when I went. Who knows, it might be better next time.

This is by far my favorite sushi place. Would definitely return and recommend to one who likes sushi.

  • *****

You can't beat the freshness of the sushi and they have a very extensive menu for all you can eat. I come here all the time

  • *****

I love this place!! For $20 + a buck or two for tax this place is the best all you can eat sushi + hot food in the area. I used to come here every other Wednesday but gotten busy lately but I will definitely be back very soon!

Can't get enough of the rock shrimp!

The sushi is great, appetizers are good and desert is delicious. You get a great meal for a good price. The sushi is always fresh and the service is very good. The restaurant is always clean. You will get good sushi and great service for a good price. Ideal for a date.

People are complaining that they forgot parts of your order. If you order a lot on a tiny sheet of paper that tends to happen. Just order it on a new sheet. ITS ALL YOU CAN EAT!! for 20 bucks! Sushi is fresh and menu is huge.

  • *****

    The best!!!

  • *****

Unlimited sushi for $20 dollars/person??!!! It's the BEST! My boyfriend and I come to this restaurant almost every weekend as a post-work out reward! It's unlimited sushi AND kitchen food. So awesome! I love this place! At the end of our dinner, we always get chocolate ice cream and strawberry ice cream for dessert--we still cannot decide which ice cream flavor is the best!
    I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

  • *****

Cozy spot. Plenty of parking. The sushi is great. They don't overfill the rolls with rice. The staff is very attentive. All you can eat sushi for a total under $30. This has become my designated sushi spot.

  • *****

Excellent service and very good food!

  • *****

Their AYCE Sushi is fresh, delicious, and NOT a different size or quality than their a la carte options. The staff is attentive and nice, and the service is always pretty fast. I love this place for its quality, deliciousness, and pirce point -- at 19.99/21.99 for AYCE sushi it can't be beat!

  • *****

Finally an AYCE Sushi place that does not smell like rotten fish, and serves fresh sushi!

All these AYCE Sushi places relatively serve the same things. However there is always a big difference with freshness, and service. This place had great service. They seemed to have a nice system going on with food runners, waitresses, etc. We had no complaints there.

The portions of everything, especially the little appetizers, were bigger than most places. However like every AYCE place I go to, they never give us everything we right down on the menu. I guess they do that on purpose, thinking we won't eat it and they do not want to waste. But I asked them personally to bring a few things that they forgot.

The food was seriously better then many other sushi joints. Excellent miso, excellent cold noodles, and the sushi was some of the freshest I had in a while. I mean the soft shell crab roll was actually still warm from the freshly fried crab. Nothing was oily or too fishy. In fact, it was the best spicy tuna roll I ever had. Ever. So totally fresh, and my fianc even liked it, even though he hates raw sushi. But the freshness made it taste great.

Really happy with this place. Will be coming back soon.

  • *****

    Food was ok.
    Not the best sushi.
You get what you paid for.
For a $20 AYCE, its ok.

    Service was good.
The servers were very attentive and refills our drinks right away.
They also gave us the order check list as soon as we finish our first plate.

    Will I visit again?
Yes, only if I"m around the area.

  • *****

Finally found a place around us that does great AYCE sushi!

We've gone a few times now, and we've been pleased every single time. All the food is tasty and fresh, and it comes out right after you order - even on a busy Saturday night! A few of the rolls are just not my style, but many are on point and delicious. My favorite is the Godzilla Roll (come on, you can't screw up fried food).

Many AYCE places I have gone will not give you the full amount of sushi/sashimi that you request. This place does. We have never been shorted on our request, which makes me like this place even more. Usually the waiter/waitresses are on point with drink requests, unless it gets a bit busy.

Only issue I have is parking. I'm not sure if the lot is for Sushi Castle or not, and if it is, it's small and competing with other businesses for spots. Regardless, we'll keep going back!

  • *****

The 4 stars are all just for the food. I find that in many Asian restaurants the service is sub-par. They don't coddle you or check in very often, which is fine if you're not thirsty.

The all you can eat sushi is the best deal. A family of four and we paid like $115 with drinks and all. The sushi was very delicious, the butterfly roll and pink lady is a must try. Also don't pass up the Phoenix roll

It's a buffet where you don't have to get up. They do all the work for you. It's definitely 2 different experiences going there during peak times and when it's quieter.

They only have 4-5 waitresses during peak times and it seems it might be overwhelming for them. However they're able to be much more attentive during lunch or week nights.

I'm big on service, but I can deal with the response time of the waitresses for all you can eat sushi at such an affordable price.

  • *****

Ok Sushi Castle you get my first 5 star review. AYCE Sushi is a a specialty of mine and I can honestly say this is the best. This place is clean inside and out and plenty of parking. You'll walk inside and be shocked that it's civilized and not your typical AYCE sushi experience. The hot food comes quick so be aware of that and get your cold food and sushi in right away. You'll be shocked how quickly your food comes and even more shocked that they get the order 100% right ( one of my big pet peeves at AYCE) Friendly staff and quick delivery make this a great choice.
All food the food is tasty and spot on and price right. My only regret is that the place might get busy with all the positive reviews but hey they deserve it for getting it right.

  • *****

Sushi was good! Service was fast and attentive.
The quality of food was pretty good for an AYCE restaurant in the area.

The red bean ice cream was a good end to a great feast :)

I am a new resident of Crestwood. I ate here for dinner twice in a row. Great sushi and great price. Will definitely be coming here again and again. Def worth a try! Sushi is super fresh and their portions are perfect size to try different things. Pink lady was my favorite and their tuna avocado roll is delicious. Their miso soup is also great!

  • *****

We have been here several times..... really nice 'all you can eat' sushi place. Fresh fish...very consistent delicious sushi. Reasonable pricing and good quality. Definitely recommend this place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Check them out.

  • *****

I almost wanted to leave one star so the place doesn't get too busy. Absolutely great food with a larger than expected menu to choose from. Pay the extra $3 on the weekend for the beef satay.

  • *****

BEST AYCE SUSHI AROUND. My husband and I eat here at least once a week. Not only is the sushi fresh and delicious, but the staff is more than friendly and super attentive. Brian always greets us with a smile and a handshake as well as makes sure we have everything we need. The waitress staff are all wonderful, especially Sherry, and the sushi chefs really know what they are doing. We have tried other AYCE sushi if we weren't nearby and are always upset that we didn't just wait. There is no other place to go. If you haven't been here, definitely go. You won't go anywhere else for sushi after.

  • *****

Pretty good place. I'm more of an old school Todai guy or Ichi Umi in Manhattan, but for a sushi buffet place in Westchester, NY this place is gold. First off, don't expect to come in and see rows and rows of food. You have to order what you want. At first I wasn't feeling that, but the staff is great and quick. It was hot out today and was happy to find the AC cranked up in this place. I had the shrimp tempura which was very good as a starter. Then I had spicy tuna rolls, spicy salmon rolls, Philadelphia rolls, tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, and red bean ice cream for a sweet treat. It was all excellent. I would most definitely come back.

Hi I have been going to sushi castle since it opened. Sushi is always fresh and the food is always good. Service is not always the greatest but my family and I love going there.

  • *****

We've been going to Sushi Castle since it opened and are happy with the food. The service is usually good, but can sometimes be lacking. It's understandable when they're busy, but not when they're slow. The food is always good and fresh. It's all you can eat to order. They give you sheets to check off what you want and the quantity. They have a wide selection of Sushi and also cooked food. Sometimes they miss things you ordered, but you can always request it again. They have ice cream for desert, which is also good.

  • *****

The best sushi buffet quality for the price! I've been here 3 times before and returned last night after a while. As I remember it, they had fresh sushi and quick service. It is a large casual restaurant, nothing fancy.

I had the AYCE sushi buffet dinner with a friend. Its more expensive on the weekends than on the weekdays. We came for a late dinner around 9:30, so I felt bad since their staff were eating before closing I assume. But we were seated immediately along with other tables finishing up. We didn't feel rushed, since the waiters gave us more order forms as soon as we finished. For our first order, though, they left out a few rolls that we had checked off. We reordered it on our 2nd order form, so it was fine. We had several rolls, miso soup, a few sushi a-la-carte, and some appetizers including shumai and shrimp tempura. Our favorite rolls were the mango avocados and the special Ocean rolls (spicy shrimp with mango). My friend usually loves spicy tuna, but it was barely spicy and tasted more like regular tuna, so we didn't reorder that. The godzilla is also a unique roll, but the deep-fried roll was a little too heavy for me. Overall, we enjoyed our all-you-can-eat sushi dinner for 2 with a beer for $50.

  • *****

Went yesterday, for the second time. Great AYCE sushi place, & everything comes out very fresh and fast.

One of the rolls I ordered was just not for me. Nothing wrong with it, just not my style. It was no problem.

Always leave full & never made it yet to the ice creme. Lol. There is always next time...

  • *****

Such a great idea! All you can order sushi! It's not buffet style either, you get a paper menu and write down how many of each item you want!  Unlimited sushi, apps, and kitchen dishes!

  • *****

Wow - a really decent AYCE sushi place that is not pricey!

They had a really great selection of cooked foods and sushi! Love that you can order by portion so that you are not wasting food if you are just looking to try it! The only downside is that the specialty rolls do come in full size, so be careful on how many you order - unless you are coming with a big group of people to share it with.

The eel and avocado roll is excellent! So is the soft shell spider crab roll. The seafood udon was really good! And tempura was fresh!

The egg custard was a bit on the hard and flimsy side, so I would just skip it! And when you order eel as sashimi - it literally is just the bbq eel with bbq sauce - so stick with it as sushi or in a roll.

Overall, great place to eat! And you can't go wrong with $19.95 per person for sushi buffet!

    We will be back!

  • *****

I loved it...my brother and I went to try it out.  Seemed really inexpensive so I was leary.  But I was pleasantly surprised.  Our waitress was AWESOME!!  We had a blast, food was YUMMY and we WILL be back!!

  • *****

just came to this restaurant again & I'm so happy we did! they now serve alcohol, which is neither a pro or con to me just an new change in the restaurant. you can beat the price! it's truly high quality suchi & Japanese fair for $18-22, for all you can food! really excellent!

  • *****

Food was good, service was great; our waitress is from Queens - represent!  Apparently they have a Sushi Castle in Long Island somewhere too. Try the special dishes available on weekends, so good!

  • *****

Fan-freaking-tastic! My friends and I decided to come here after a quick Yelp! search since we wanted to have sashimi and sushi before hitting up Alamo Drafthouse, and it was the perfect choice!

The service is stupidly fast. Like, so so so so fast. We started getting our food like a minute after turning in the papers, and it just kept coming out one after the other really quickly. Even the sashimi and sushi, which normally takes other "write what you want" AYCE sushi places a bit of time to serve, was before us in a matter of minutes.

The fish was fresh and tasty! The salmon was wonderfully fatty, the hamachi was delish, even the white tuna had a great flavor. The albacore was a bit odd, but it always is at these kinds of places. It is like they cure it or sear it or something.

The hot food was freshly made, and the tempura was so light and crispy! We had the various fish teriyaki and the gyoza as well, all of which tasted great.

The one thing that I loved was the service. Very attentive and friendly. The owner(?) noticed that I was eating the daikon garnish and asked if I wanted more. She brought me a HUGE plate of it! Yaaaaassss!!!

If it didn't cost $16 in tolls to get there, I would be back more often, but it will definitely be our "go to" whenever we head to Yonkers for a movie outing ^_^

  • *****

The food was delicious and at a price you can't beat. One of the friendliest person helped us not sure if he was the owner but all his recommendation were hand down wonderful.

  • *****

Excellent food, speedy cooking time, and reasonable prices! Staff is very friendly as well.

  • *****

OMG! Honestly, I come here all the time! I LOVE their food, I usually call for delivery since my office is located in town but I've been there with friends many times  as well. First off, they have unlimited sushi and it's great sushi, for around $20/person you eat like a king or queen. I highly recommend their Kani salad, specialty rolls, and their noodles. The noodles come with a delicious peanut sauce, sooo good!
The place is pretty plain, so don't come overdressed... The stuff is really sweet, and they are really fast.

*Tip- If you go for the unlimited menu, they'll give you a paper menu and you get to check how many orders of each thing you want to request. Please remember that you get to order more than once so be cautious and order your appetizer first, and then your rolls or whatever else you want. If your check off everything that you want when you first sit, they'll all come out- fast!

  • *****

I was skeptical at first about an all you can eat sushi place, but i actually really like this place.

  • *****

Not your typical "all you can eat" restaurant. The sushi is made once you order it, and is fresh and delicious. They provide you with two menus when seated: One for sushi/sashimi, and one for hot foods. You can order as much as you want, the only catch is that you can't waste food, which is understandable. This is a great place, and I plan on eating here as often as I can.

  • *****

Note: overall rating is 4.5 stars.

You have to try this place. It is the total opposite of what you think an "all you can eat" establishment looks like. No steam tables full of rubbery food or items laid out for hours under sneeze guards. Instead, a regular restaurant layout, where you sit down at a table and order off a menu. In short time, your freshly prepared sushi/rolls/tempura/hot appetizers arrive. Once you devour that order, you order again and the process begins anew.
I would've given them five stars except that once or twice, they forgot an item that I had ordered. I was too busy stuffing my face to get too upset, especially since I was able to order it a few minutes later anyway.
Four flavors of ice cream for dessert and everyone leaves happy with a big smile and a very small bill.

Good all you can eat sushi place. Menu if decent. No hibachi available but cooked food is part of the all you can eat. They catered well to a family member with a gluten allergy.

  • *****

Dined here twice and the first time really surprised me. The second time, however, is what makes me give it only four stars.

PROS: They didn't use too much rice on their rolls, just enough, and that automatically won me over. They specified the difference between sushi and sashimi. They have red bean ice cream. The servers are all very courteous and attentive.

CONS: Babies do not eat free. The only difference between their sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken is their "sauce" which seems to only be one with sesame seeds and one without. I got more fried breading than shrimp with the rock shrimp. And when more than one kani salad is ordered, one just seemed to be shredded cucumbers (they didn't evenly divide the salad between two dishes I ordered). If you care about presentation, which I do, I feel like you need to catch this place on a good day. The first time I went my sushi was nicely arranged and looked really pretty. The second time they just seemed to just put it on the dish however it could fit.

I would assume people come here more for the sushi than the kitchen appetizers, so if thats what you're looking for then this is definitely my new place and a place you should check out. You're not overwhelmed by a thick layer of rice on the rolls and the establishment seems to be very clean.

What a deal! I almost don't want to write this review to keep this awesome spot a secret but I'm paying it forward! The hubs and I found this gem via Yelp and we are sooo glad we did! The place is no frills with simple yet comfortable decor. The service was good and the food along with the price was AWESOME! Everything was made to order and since it was my first AYCE experience I advise others to pace themselves. The hubs and I were a bit overwhelmed when all of our dishes came out at the same time but next time we will definitely take our time with our orders. We ordered alil bit of everything and other than the broth for the wonton soup having a funky taste everything else was GREAT! The sushi of course was the highlight. All of our rolls tasted fresh and clean. We will definitely return and spread our orders out!

The staff could be nicer but they weren't at all rude or anything. The food was very good. Great value. Nice atmosphere.

    FAVORITE PLACE FOR SUSHI.
So cheap, $25 with drink, tip, and the best meal. All you can it has never been so great!! LOVE IT

  • *****

Probably the best AYCE experience in the area. The good quality sushi is fresh and tasty if not amazing. Hot dishes from the kitchen are just OK but are perfectly edible; we enjoyed fried dumplings and vegetable tempura. Service is pleasant and the space itself is nice enough, if fairly spartan. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation to sushi fans as a good value.

  • *****

This place is awesome. I refer anyone who mention sushi here. It's all you can eat and the sushi and other food is amazing. The service is great and the atmosphere is surprisingly clean(5 star hotel) and classy for what they charge. This is not a traditional buffet no one sneezing on your food everything is brought out so tip well and not based on what you spent.(give a little more) Great for groups, dates or just going out.

  • *****

This place is great! We come here every week. Good quality sushi, especially for the price. The best part is the AYCE also includes soup, noodles, tempura, edamame and other appetizers. It also includes unlimited ice cream (if you have room after all the sushi)! The owner is very nice, too. Overall, great restaurant.

I never really ate a lot of sushi before. My BF loves it, so I tried some. And then some more.

It seems like people eat a lot of it.  I would eat a tuna roll or salmon roll and think that was it. Seemingly if you love sushi people can go on and on.

So I am new to sushi and sushi culture. We went to a few regular places. Then I found sushi castle and asked him if he would like to try it , so he could get his sushi on big time.

Well it was really good. They make it fresh to order. Waitresses always sweet. The green tea is good. They also have fresh broccoli and sesame noodles and pork pot stickers. They don't overload with rice. It all tastes fresh. You fill out the papers and hand it to the waitress. People were getting huge platters of it.

The BF who is an aficionado said it is great quality sushi for the price. We have been twice now and love it. And I like a new cuisine now. Put avocado on it and I love anything!  The salmon, spicy tuna, and pink lady roll is great here.

For all you can eat it is made fresh to order. You don't feel like you are at a steam table buffet where kids touch and sneeze in the General Tso. That is important!

2nd time coming here and yes, I'm still a fan.
Me and my friends came here around 5pm and we were the first customers! People started coming in and by the time we left, it was 60% full.  The waiters are very attentive and maybe TOO attentive to a point I felt like we were being rushed out..

Other wise, food was awesome :)

My 3rd review. Have visited about ten times since September 2014. AYCE Sushi/Sashimi for under $30 with tax/tip is a great deal and has been super fresh and delicious each time. Sitting at Sushi bar is great and menu options include many delights. Staff also always very nice and new tv makes for great sports watching plus.

  • *****

I've always wanted to go to an all you can eat (AYCE) sushi spot, but have always been a little hesitant to go since I've been told and read that most of these places serve horrible sushi.

Well, am I glad I didn't let my fear get the best of me and decided to check out this spot. Sushi Castle is the perfect place to go to fill up on sushi till your heart's desire for only $23 (on weekends). It's located a few minutes from the Hutchinson so you definitely need a car to get there.

    PROS:

    - Parking lot available
    - Nice decor
    - Clean bathrooms
    - Beer & wine available for purchase
    - Menu includes sushi and kitchen items (for example, chicken teriyaki, shumai, etc)
    - Free soda with Yelp check-in
    - Everything prepared is fresh and made to order
    - Service is quick & friendly
    - Great for groups or for a date

    CONS:

    NONE!

  • *****

AYCE sushi! sorta like sushi village in Queens
Weekday is cheaper..I think it was around $23 pp.
Quality is good and there's a lot of things to choose from..tobiko, eel, sashimi.  The combo rolls are awesome, and of course, they have the standard hot appetizers.  Ice cream wise: Greentea, red bean and chocolate & strawberry.  There's a free soda/ drink for checking in on yelp.  Ambiance is nice too... oh and they charge $10 for kids (whether they eat or not).

  • *****

All you can eat sushi for $20? Yes, please. Very generous assortment of items to choose from- sushi, sashimi, rolls, special rolls, cooked items- all that for only $20- that is a steal. And the quality is good, I have been here four times just to make sure. It's not ultra-quality top grade sushi, but its good.

  • *****

Since my first review in early September 2014, I have visted once a week or so. A really super treat and a super bargain. Staff is friendly and attentive. Awesome ayce sushi. One recommendation for the owners, add a tv for football and I'll go Sundays too.

I've eaten here a couple of times since finding this place in July. The food is very good. I'm usually very skeptical when it comes to AYCE sushi but this place is great. I would go all the way to Queens for AYCE sushi but this place is wayyy better. There are multiple items offered and the sushi is good. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. Love it here!

  • *****

My favorite place in Westchester so far. It's about $20 for all you can eat sushi. It's not a buffet - when I say all you can eat, I mean you can order whatever you want and how much you want from the menu, they don't over do it on the rice, and they don't charge you extra if you don't finish your food. I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic and you can't beat the price.

  • *****

SOOOO where oh where do I begin? The taste, then atmosphere,  the quality?

Taste has to come first.  Their overall flavor is wonderful! I have been here a few times for sit down for the all you can eat and have been impressed every time. I have also gotten take out and no problems there. Anything you order will be handled with care.

Atmosphere is cool and laid back. Great for groups of friends family or both. Im thinking of throwing my birthday party dinner here.

The quality is there, period.  Now my food has arrived while I typed this. Time to eat.

  • *****

I'm skeptical of all you can eat sushi, but I've never been to a place like this where they make any roll you want on their AYCE menu as your order it! I've only gone to buffet style where the rice is stale and the fish is warm.

    Servers are courteous and nice!

Fried cheesecake is great- go for it!

  • *****

What a great find!  We went Monday early evening.  There were a number of families already there.  As others have noted, the quality was good...not high end, but just solid.  You pick what you want off of a menu, kind of like some of the dim sum places in Chinatown that don't have carts.  They have a good selection of sushi, sashimi, lots of rolls, soups, salads, tempura, noodles, katsu, and ice cream.  Some highlights - the salmon sashimi was excellent, miso soup was great, but I didn't care for the hot and sour soup.  The ratio of fish or other ingredient to rice is good....not too much rice.  I didn't feel like they were trying to fill my appetite with just the rice.

  • *****

Great place.  $20-22 for AYCE Sushi?  Yes please.  There are a lot of choices when it comes to sushi but Sushi Castle is a great combination of price, quantity, and quality.    Sushi Castle has a good selection of rolls, kitchen food, and sashimi.  Oh by the way they are BYOB.

Taking 1 star off because service when semi busy-busy gets terrible.  They forget about you and forget to bring out food.

Great deal and very good quality, best salmon sashimi!

  • *****

Sushi Castle at 36 Mill Road, Eastchester, is a surprising and fun place. Beside the regular Sushi Menu and Japenese Menu, they have an all you can eat Sushi Bar for $25.00 per person. They give you a slip of paper with all their sushi items on it (including soups and salads) and you choose how many of any item you want. When they begin to clear the plates, (and they do it continuously), they bring you another ordering sheet and you can order more. This continues until you order dessert. The last time we were there, I watched a table of teenage boys order. They just kept ordering and ordering and eating and eathing! The serving sizes aren't large, thus their continuous ordering, but they were having a great time and didn't stop until everyone said, "uncle". I also noted that they did not order soda. Soda is not included with the meal, and they do charge for refills. So if you don't want to get dinged on the tab, order water. The sushi bar is in the restaurant, not the kitchen, so you can see them rolling and preparing your food. The food itself is very good, the fish, very fresh. The atmosphere is nothing special. I would have given it 5 stars if there was atmosphere.  But if you like sushi and live in the area, I'd certainly give it a try.

  • *****

Went here last night which made me change my review from 5 stars to 4 stars.  This change is due to the service when the place gets busy.  They only had two wait staff on a Friday plus a host.  This led to them forgetting at least 5 of the items we picked from the AYCE menu plus my drink.  We heard other tables complaining about this as well.  To get good service, I might stick to a weeknight meal at this place.

  • *****

LOVE LOVE LOVE Sushi Castle! Went here tonight for the first time and was so plesantly surprised.  The AYCE option is such a great deal.  Not only do they offer sushi in the AYCE deal, but they also offer a whole page of hot kitchen items.  Out of the rolls that we tasted, our favorite was the Phoenix Roll.

Also a nice positive is that the food comes out quick, so it is a great place for a quick weekday dinner meal.

Definitely going to become a regular at this place!

    AMAZING!!!!!

The servers were so nice and the food was just great. Everything was very fresh and tasty! I'll def be coming back to this restaurant again!

  • *****

We have been here three times and love it here! The sushi selection is awesome! We tried the all you can eat for a little over $20 and it's worth ever penny. The deal includes cooked and fried foods and a choice of desserts too! It is the best deal in town! We will be back!

  • *****

I understand the stigma behind "all you can eat" sushi, but this place did not disappoint. Non sushi items are also included in the deal so that was great. (Gyoza, tempura, chicken cutlets, green tea ice cream, to name a few.) The salmon and tuna sashimi were fresh and tasty. Specialty rolls were delightful as well. I'd eat here again.

  • *****

Have never been to an AYCE sushi place, but was excited to find out they do it here. I don't know if this is usually what you find at an AYCE, but they have appetizers and other stuff besides sushi, including dessert in the price per person which is a very good price at about $21 (on weekend - not sure if it's cheaper during the week).

Went a second time and 2 of the people I was with were not doing AYCE and they got hot food and the service overall was pretty poor. They were nice, and didn't screw up the orders, but brought things out all staggered with time in between....makes it hard to all eat together...

Great value and great food, don't be fooled by the all you can eat signs, the quality is good

  • *****

This is the steal of the century. For a low fixed price, you get a huge selection of salads, appetizers, hot food, sushi and sashimi. The food is delicious and the service is prompt. And when we finished our food, the owner(?) suggested we try one more roll, which was their specialty! Caution - you will overeat!

  • *****

Great All you can eat sushi place in Eastchester for less than 22$ per person. Staff is friendly.  Service is prompt.  Sushi and sashimi is ordered a la carte so no buffet. You can also get soup, appetizers, and teriyaki with the AYCE option.  If you want to order from the menu instead of AYCE,  you can do that too.  My go to sushi place.

  • *****

Really good spot! The AYCE has a great variety(not just sushi) and the service is good. Will definitely come back.

  • *****

It's hard to argue with the good deal you get here in the All You can Eat department as well as lunch specials. Definitely a huge bang for the buck winner in Eastchester.

A regular sushi meal I'd have at other places around Westchester may set me back $35 easily. Here, on a weekend, it's $21 for the same order -- and anything else I want to try.

Not to mention the lunch special of 3 rolls for $11 -- insane, really.

is this the best sushi in Westchester? No. There are very few places that would qualify for that honor. Is this solid, good sushi? Yes. It's tasty, good, and enjoyable.

The people who work here are very casual and nice, and that's a cool added touch.

Wow, finally great sushi in Eastchester. My husband and I had dinner here for the first time tonight and we were more than pleased. Great service and delicious fresh sushi. I hope that Sushi Castle stay in this spot for a long time.

  • *****

Really enjoyed the all you can eat kitchen & sushi menu for $22 a person- great variety and everything was prepared well, including veggie gyoza, brown rice avocado mango roll, miso soup, and more. Even ice cream for dessert included! My only complaint is the number of times our waitresses brought something different than what we asked for. Still, not such a problem because our waitress simply corrected this when we notified her.

  • *****

Best sushi I've had in Westchester so far, and I've tried a lot. Had it delivered, and it arrived sooner than the expected time. Super fresh, packaged well and they definitely aren't stingy! I will be going to the AYCE ASAP!

  • *****

I went last night with my daughter and had AYCE menu.  Have never been to an AYCE where the food was CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING!  This place nails it - from the quick and friendly service to the miso soup, to the apps (we enjoyed edamame, shumai, gyoza, fried calimari), to the delicoius tempura, to the absolutely fresh and tasty sushi.  Other things on the menu like teriaki (yum!!) but we couldn't eat another bite when we left.  For desert we had strawberry ice cream - also included for under 22 pp on weekends!
    We will definitely return.

  • *****

This place is amazing. Sushi is always fresh here.

  • *****

    Excellent!

The owner of this establishment is courteous, customer focused and a sweetheart.  Food is excellent and a steal being that it is AYCE for less than $22 pp.

They serve drinks now so NO MORE BYOB folks.

After having read the reviews, my gf and I purchased a bottle of wine at the liquor store a few doors down before marching in to Sushi Castle.  The owner not only let us bring it in, he opened it and poured our glasses for us.  Classy.  Friggin Classy.

The only reason I did not give Sushi Castle five stars is due to the wait staff.  We initially thought that only the owner was working alone on the floor but at some point towards the end of our meal two women came out of the kitchen and actually stood over us while we ate.  They stared, whispered and clearly made it obvious that they were talking about the patrons in the restaurant.  So petty yet so crass.

Management - chuck these two idiots to the curb!  You have a gem here.  Bad employees will only weigh you down.

Try them and ignore the idiots.

    I'm a fan.

  • *****

I was with my son and I have to say I was pretty impressed .  It was slow so we had very attentive service . We ordered from the AYE menu. We ordered several apps and a bunch of sushi and then some more apps.. We were stuffed . I think it was a great deal especially for those with a big appetite . The sushi was very good and nicely plated . We will definitely be back .

  • *****

We've been here twice! This place has been a pleasant surprise with made to order sushi. There's also a nice variety of apps and alternative cooked food for the non-raw fish eater.

The owners seem to be very friendly and they have always been attentive. Probably bc there has not been very much business.

Until they get a liquor license, it is BYOB which is pretty awesome. Get a group of friends, a few bottles of wine, and you're good to go!

The expectation of all-you-can-eat restaurants is typically that the quality of the food is subpar (I mean c'mon, how many gourmet buffets have you been to lately?). I'll admit that that would have been my final opinion on the matter ... were it not for my brother and sister-in-law, who live a few blocks away from here and have made it their designated restaurant for low-key nights out.

Funny story: I told my cousin about this place and she was amazed by the idea of an AYCE. So when we got there, she insisted on ordering almost everything on the menu (bear in mind, it's all-you-can-eat Japanese, not just sushi)  After we'd eaten to our hearts content the waitress arrived with more menus so we could continue ordering. Sadly, we had to decline, but we left thoroughly satisfied.

But for your trip here are a few helpful hints:

    - It's BYOB and there's a liquor store next door ... do the math
    - Try to pace because there's a lot of good food to try (really good onion soup, delicious sesame chicken, fresh yellowtail, fun specialty rolls)
    - Young kids (like my 16 month old) eat for free
    - They have food thats off menu (like lo mein) but that'll cost you

    Have fun!

  • *****

$20 all you can eat sushi & kitchen menu. Doesn't sound like it's going to be much to write home about, but it is! The small restaurant tucked away in a little plaza doesn't look like it'll impress, but we walked away quite satisfied. They encouraged us to keep ordering & even seemed disappointed when we finally ordered dessert (which is included!) The only additional cost were the 2 sodas my husband drank. I live in putnam county & venture into Westchester rarely but this place will be a new favorite! I assume the buffet style menu is limited because it seemed that other patrons were getting some things that didn't seem to be on our menu but who cares?! We went there for sushi & they did NOT disappoint!

It was rather clean as well. I didn't know what I was going to walk into when I saw the unisex bathroom, but it too, was clean.

So glad my friend suggested this place!

  • *****

Great new addition to Eastchester!  All you can eat apps, sushi, entrees, and ice cream for $20, and it's good sushi too.  The staff was very attentive, and brought our food out quickly.  When we didn't order very much, our waiter totaled up the individual items to see if it would be cheaper that way than the all-you-can-eat (it wasn't).

One warning:  they don't have their liquor license yet, since they just opened.  They assured me they would get it soon though.
